Our Mission

"To enable women in mid-life, particularly Black women, to improve their emotional and physical health through personal empowerment and lifestyle changes, thus reducing premature and preventable deaths in this population."

Our Vision

"All women in the United States will reach their maximum health potential despite existing disparities based on race, ethnicity, culture or socioeconomic status."

Our Goals

We fulfill our Mission/Vision through specific goals:

Goal 1. Strength the organization for long-term financial and programatic sustainability.

Goal 2. Scale GPHIC programs and outcomes to sustainably benefit more women                        with relevant information, motivating group education, and helpful resources.

Goal 3. Formulate and Implement a Successful Financial Strategy.

Goal 4. Contribute to the evidence base, informing practice from our research on how to               most impactfully improve Black women's health outcomes.
